Chris Richards of the Muhlenberg men's soccer team was named Centennial Conference player of the week.
Richards recorded three goals and three assists as the Mules won two games to remain undefeated on the season. He scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win at regionally ranked Drew by converting a penalty kick with 5:00 left in the first half.
In a 10-0 shutout of Centenary, Richards had two goals and three assists, becoming the first Muhlenberg player to be involved in five goals in a game since 1987.
Richards leads the CC with six goals and is tied for the league lead with 15 points. He is tied for second among Division III freshmen in points and is tied for sixth among all Division III players in points per game.
