Sophomore Casarah Morales netted another long-distance goal in Muhlenberg women's soccer's 5-1 defeat at DeSales.
 
The Mules (2-5-2) fell behind early in the first half and were trailing 2-0 early in the second period when they were awarded a corner kick opportunity. Senior Carly DeNigris attempted the corner, passing the ball wide to Morales, who settled the ball and fired a 25-yard line drive that sailed over the goalkeeper's head into the middle of the net for her second goal of the season. DeNigris earned her 11th career assist on the play, her third this season.
 
The Bulldogs (5-4) tallied another goal three and a half minutes later before adding two more scores late in the game to pull away.
 
The loss snapped Muhlenberg's school-record streak of consecutive overtime matches played.
 
Sophomore Alyssa Rose (pictured above) along with Morales were two of seven different Mules that attempted a shot in the match.
