The Muhlenberg women's soccer team picked up its first Centennial Conference win of the season with a 5-0 home shutout of Bryn Mawr.
The Mules (3-5-2, 1-1-2) dominated from start to finish, rolling up a 33-1 advantage in shots en route to their biggest offensive output in a CC game since a 5-0 shutout of Ursinus in 2008.
Muhlenberg scored three goals in a span of five minutes to break open the game late in the first half. Senior
Carly DeNigris started the run with a straight-on shot after a failed clearance for her eighth career goal.
Freshman
Isabel Schwartz scored her third goal of the season after winning a ball in the box at the 33:59 mark, and just 54 seconds later DeNigris assisted on the first career goal for sophomore
Karolyn Kawa.
Sophomore
Alyssa Rose added a pair of goals on penalty kicks in the second half.
The three Mule goalies - sophomores
Libby Juliano and
Marissa D'Alessandro and freshman
Kayla Klarides - divided the game up evenly to combine on the team's fourth shutout of the season.
The win extended Muhlenberg's home unbeaten streak to eight.
