The Muhlenberg men's soccer team battled Lehigh Valley rival DeSales to two overtimes before falling on a goal with just 3:45 left on the clock.

The Mules (2-3-1) held a 17-14 advantage in shots on the Bulldogs (6-1), who came in with a five-game winning streak. 

Muhlenberg also had three near-misses. Sophomore Pete Luther and senior Anthony Carracino rocketed long shots off the crossbar in the first half and first overtime, respectively, and the Mules had a first-half goal disallowed because of an offside call.

Junior Jordan Schreer made five saves, including a diving stop (pictured below) in the first half and one of a point-blank shot early in the second half.
