The Muhlenberg men's soccer team played undefeated and regionally ranked Drew even for the first 45 minutes before a flurry of second-half goals resulted in a 6-0 defeat.
The Mules (2-1-1) got off to a good start, putting a ball in the back of the net a minute into the game, but the goal was disallowed due to an offside call.
Neither team scored for the remainder of the half, with reigning Centennial Conference defensive player of the week
Jordan Schreer making four saves to keep the Rangers (5-0-1) off the board.
Drew broke the deadlock just 33 seconds into the second half and went on to score five more times, including three in a span of less than five minutes.
Drew, 10th in the Mid-Atlantic, is the first of six regionally ranked opponents on the Muhlenberg schedule. Up next is Saturday's Centennial Conference opener at Franklin & Marshall, ranked fourth in the region and 22nd in Division III.
