The Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team honored its two senior players before playing its game against Dickinson.
Seniors
Jack Brennan and
Brad D'Alessandro both started the game, a 17-3 Dickinson win, and played significant minutes. D'Alessandro, who is third in Mules history in goals scored (77) and seventh in points (101), collected a ground ball and had four shots. Brennan entered the game with two career goals and an assist to go with four ground balls in 25 games.
It was the youth for the Mules (2-10, 0-6 CC) that tallied the three scores. Freshmen
Frankie Feaster,
Scott Fayan and
Jack Colt all scored a goal, and Feaster assisted on Fayan's fifth goal of the season. Freshman
Bobby McLoughlin also recorded an assist, his fourth this season, on Colt's third period strike.
The Red Devils (11-2, 5-1 CC) scored their first two goals in thirty seconds to start the game and then rattled off seven straight after Feaster's goal to pull away.
Freshman
Frank Caterina scooped up a season-high seven ground balls and caused two turnovers to lead the Mules.
Junior goalkeeper
Lance Gibson made eight saves in 36 minutes, while freshman
Garrett Pope stopped a season-best seven shots.
