Despite four goals from senior
Brad D'Alessandro and three goals from players who found the back of the net for the first time in their collegiate careers, the Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team fell to FDU-Florham, 12-9.
The Mules (0-3) led for most of the game and were up four goals early in the third quarter before hitting a dry spell, during which the Devils (2-1) scored eight straight goals. D'Alessandro broke the run with 38.5 seconds left, but FDU won the ensuing faceoff and ran the clock out.
Freshman
Jack Colt, making his first career start, put Muhlenberg on the board less than two minutes into the game with his first career goal. Ahead 3-2 after one, the Mules extended their lead to three on the first career goals for freshman
Bobby McLoughlin and sophomore

D'Alessandro wrapped up his 11th career hat trick by scoring with 5.3 seconds left in the first half to make it 6-3.
Back-to-back goals by freshman
Declan Moylan early in the third quarter gave the Mules their biggest lead at 8-4, but they went more than 26 minutes without scoring again.
Junior
