Frankie Feaster broke the Muhlenberg men's lacrosse school record for ground balls in a game by a freshman in a 14-5 loss at Scranton.
Feaster scooped up 13 ground balls - the fourth-highest single-game total in program history and the most for a first-year player. He won 15 of 22 faceoffs and also notched his first career point with an assist. That helper came on a man-up goal by junior
Niko Del Moro to give the Mules an early 1-0 lead.
Less than a minute later, freshman
Declan Moylan scored his first career goal to make it 2-0, but the Royals, a Landmark Conference playoff qualifier last year, reeled off the next five goals to take the lead for good.
Moylan later added a second goal, and senior
Brad D'Alessandro and sophomore
Brandon Miller also found the back of the net. The goal for D'Alessandro was the 60th of his career.
Sophomore
Chris Markey made eight saves in his first career start.
