This is the fifth straight year that the Mules have placed at least 10 players on the All-CC team.
Corvil leads the CC and is tied for 13th in Division III with six interceptions. He is also tied for the team lead with four pass breakups. A second-team All-CC pick last year, Corvil has recorded 43 tackles (33 solo) on the season and recovered two fumbles, both in the end zone for touchdowns.
Curtiss made a big impact in his first season at Muhlenberg, catching 35 passes for 472 yards and six touchdowns. His six TD catches are tied for fifth in Division III among players listed as tight ends. Curtiss tied a CC record for tight ends with 11 receptions vs. Johns Hopkins.
Oprisko moved up to the first team after earning honorable mention in 2016. He has started every game at left tackle for an offense that is averaging 32.1 points and 424.6 yards per game. Despite using four different starters at running back, Muhlenberg is second in the CC in rushing yards per game (190.6).
Ampomah had an outstanding first season as a starter at outside linebacker, leading the Mules in both tackles for loss (10) and sacks (8½ - fourth in the CC). He is sixth on the team with 47 total tackles and forced a fumble, which he recovered.
Crawford finished the regular season on a high note, recording all 2½ of his sacks and 3½ of his 5½ tackles for loss in the last three games. He also forced a fumble during that span and ended the regular season with 20 tackles and two pass breakups. Â
Blair is fourth on the Mules with 52 tackles, including a team-leading 39 solos. He is tied for second in the CC and tied for 11th in Division III with three forced fumbles, and he also recovered a fumble.
Kober is second on the team with 58 tackles, including 3½ for loss, from his inside linebacker spot. He was named CC player of the week after recording a season-high 11 tackles in a win against previously undefeated Ursinus.
Bucsek has been one of Muhlenberg's most consistent linemen, starting every game at center. The Mules rank third in the CC and 27th in Division III in time of possession.
Musilli is third on the Mules with 53 total tackles, including 5½ for loss and two sacks. Three of his tackles for loss came in the Ursinus win, and he recorded a high of 10 total tackles against Dickinson.
Cosgriff is another key member of a defense that ranks 19th in Division III against the run, allowing 82.6 yards per game. He finished the regular season with 23 total tackles, including five for loss and two sacks.
O'Hagan averages 35.9 yards per punt and leads the CC with 19 of his 41 boots landing inside the 20. He downed nine of his punts inside the 3-yard line.Â
Muhlenberg recorded its eighth straight winning season in 2017, going 7-3 to earn a postseason berth for the 14th time in the last 18 years. The Mules will face Carnegie Mellon in the Asa S. Bushnell Bowl at Delaware Stadium on Saturday.
