The Muhlenberg women's soccer team fell behind to Johns Hopkins on two first half goals and could not recover, falling 2-0.
 
The Blue Jays (5-1-2, 2-0 CC) scored their first goal on a penalty kick in the ninth minute.
 
The Mules (2-5, 0-2 CC) were also awarded a penalty kick opportunity five minutes later. Junior Carly DeNigris dribbled past a Blue Jays defender on the left side of the box and was dragged down to the ground close to the goal to set up the penalty kick.
 
DeNigris's shot to tie the match was hit to the left, but the Blue Jays goalkeeper got in front of the shot to make the save.
 
Johns Hopkins scored their second goal of the game at the 20' mark and preserved their lead by holding the Mules to five shots in the match.
 
Freshman goalkeeper Libby Juliano made her third start of the season and for her second straight match made double-digit saves, making 10 stops in the match.
