Two Muhlenberg athletes received weekly honors from the Centennial Conference.
Senior
Rachel Strow was named offensive player of the week in field hockey for the second week in a row, and senior
Jaryd Flank was named men's cross country runner of the week.
Strow continued her scoring surge, netting all five goals in a 2-0 week for the undefeated Mules. She scored two goals, including the winner with 6.4 seconds left in the first overtime, against King's, then recorded her first career hat trick in a 3-1 CC win at McDaniel.
Strow, who entered the season with a career total of seven goals in 40 games, has scored in each of Muhlenberg's first five games and leads the CC in both goals (9) and points (19).
Flank earned the CC honor for the third time in his career after winning his second meet of the season, finishing first at the Moravian Invitational to lead Muhlenberg to the team title. His time of 25:54.21 was 33 seconds better than the next collegiate runner.
Flank has finished in the top five in every race but one over the last two years.
