The Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team opened up Centennial Conference play with a 16-4 home loss to Franklin & Marshall.

The Diplomats (7-2), who won their seventh straight game, got on the board quickly with two goals in the first three minutes and widened their lead throughout the first half. With F&M winning a majority of the faceoffs, senior Kyle Larkin faced a barrage of shots and made 12 saves in the first half alone. The CC leader in saves per game finished with 15 stops.

Sophomore Niko Del Moro got the Mules (3-6) on the board with 4:28 to go in the third quarter. Juniors Jack Brennan and Brad D'Alessandro and senior Peter Zipf also scored for Muhlenberg. Zipf's goal came on a beautiful feed from D'Alessandro right in front of the cage on an extra-man opportunity.
