Brad D'Alessandro scored a career-high five goals, including the game-winner, as the Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team came from behind three times to defeat Centenary, 12-8, for its first win of the season.

Steven Casella added four points on two goals and two assists, and sophomore
Ryan Malloy also scored a pair of goals for an offense that scored a season-high 12 goals against a Cyclone goalie who is the reigning Division III defensive player of the week.
The Mules (1-2) trailed 3-1 before Casella and D'Alessandro scored man-up goals 21 seconds apart in the first quarter. Centenary (2-1) netted the next three goals to open up a three-goal advantage early in the second quarter, and again Muhlenberg came back to tie on a goal by D'Alessandro with 2.6 seconds left in the first half.
The Cyclones went ahead 7-6 on a goal two minutes into the third quarter but managed only one goal the rest of the game as the Mule defense tightened up. Back-to-back goals by D'Alessandro sent the teams into the final period tied at 8-8.

Jake Solomon (pictured above) had an outstanding game in the X, winning 16 faceoffs (one short of his career high) and scooping up nine ground balls.
