The Muhlenberg men's soccer team allowed two first-half goals and could not recover despite an offensive push in the second half in its 2-0 loss at regionally ranked Johns Hopkins.
The Mules (3-8-3, 1-5-1 CC) gave up goals in the sixth and 36th minute of the first half but then outshot the Blue Jays (10-3-2, 4-3 CC), who are ranked ninth in the Mid-Atlantic region, 5-1 in the second half in its comeback attempt.

Jeff Remley attempted a header on goal shortly after the Blue Jays scored their second goal that was also saved, one of two shots for the Mules in the first half.

Alex Tomko made three saves in 72 minutes to earn the loss for Muhlenberg. Sophomore
Marshall Hanyon played the final 18 minutes in net and recorded one save.
Both teams attempted two corner kicks in the match.
