The Muhlenberg men's soccer team played tough against another Centennial Conference playoff hopeful, falling at home to Dickinson, 1-0 on a goal 61 seconds into overtime.
With the win, the Red Devils (7-7-2, 4-3-1) moved into the fifth and final playoff spot. Of the six teams in contention for CC playoff berths, the Mules (3-9-3, 1-6-1) took three into overtime and lost to another by one goal.
Shots for the game were even at 8-8, and Muhlenberg's best chance to score came midway through the second half. A shot from the center of the field by senior
Nick Sarkos hit the right post and ricocheted across the goal mouth to the left post. Sophomore
Christian Wieand attempted to put the rebound in, but the Dickinson goalie made a sliding save.
