The Mules (13-1, 7-1), ranked 12th by the
WBCA and 16th by
D3hoops.com, came out on fire, making 10 of their first 13 field-goal tries in jumping out to a 27-11 lead. Primary in that effort was Plotke, who connected on all six of her attempts, including four from three-point range.
Muhlenberg ended the first quarter with a 29-13 advantage and led by as many as 28 points (66-38) early in the fourth.
Vallely finished with 13 points, 11 assists and five steals for her 10th double-double of the season. With the season just past the midway point, she needs only 21 assists to break the school record for a season and 23 to topple the Centennial Conference mark.
Santone, who on Monday became the Mules' all-time leader in blocked shots, started to put some distance between herself and second place, tying the school record she set twice previously with seven blocked shots. She also recorded seven points and six rebounds.
