The Muhlenberg women's soccer team could not hold on to an early lead and lost its home opener to Delaware Valley, 2-1.

The Mules (0-3-1) jumped on top when senior Jacelin Muschlitz scored midway through the first half. After her initial shot was saved at close range, Muschlitz (pictured above) knocked the rebound into the top of the net for her fifth career goal.

The Aggies (2-2-1) tied the score early in the second half and netted the winner with 9:50 to play.

Muhlenberg took 18 second-half shots but could not find the back of the net.
