Kevin Miller with 8:22 left in the first half gave the Mules (3-3, 1-1) the lead for good, at 16-15. Muhlenberg led by as many as 10 points in the first half and took a six-point advantage into the locker room.
The Mules came out in the second half and held the Fords (1-4, 0-1) to one field goal in the first 11:55, going on a 23-6 run to open up a 54-31 lead. Muhlenberg eventually built its lead to as many as 27 points in cruising to the win.
The 45 points allowed were the fewest by the Mules in a CC game in six years. They held the Fords to 32-percent shooting for the game and limited the leading scorer in the CC to nine points - less than half his average.
