Box Score

Junior Jon Schreer scored 15 points and made the 100th three-pointer of his career, but the Muhlenberg men's basketball team suffered a 78-65 loss at Centennial Conference fornt-runner Gettysburg.

Schreer's milestone three came on his first attempt, just 96 seconds into the game, and gave the Mules (3-4, 1-2) a 5-3 lead. He is the 15th player in team history to make at least 100 threes. Schreer (pictured above) also had five assists in the game and ran his career three-point total to 102.

Junior Brandon LaRose also scored 15 points, and sophomore Nick Rindock added 12 against a Bullet team that opened up its CC schedule with double-digit wins against Dickinson and Johns Hopkins, who have combined to win the last three league titles.

Following Schreer's three-pointer, Gettysburg (5-1, 3-0) went on a 17-2 run to open up a 13-point margin.

Down by 22 at one point in the first half and 13 at halftime, the Mules battled back midway through the second half. Three-pointers by Schreer, LaRose and senior Alec Stavetski cut the margin to seven, at 51-44, with 12:43 remaining before the Bullets pulled away.
