The Red Devils (10-3-3, 4-1-3), who are ranked sixth in the Mid-Atlantic Region by the NCAA, scored the winning goal on a penalty kick with 4:30 remaining after one of their players was fouled in the box.
Until the end, the game followed a similar script to the Mules' 1-1 tie with Johns Hopkins (eighth in the region) five days ago. Muhlenberg (4-9-2, 1-6-1) trailed 1-0 at halftime, but junior
Phil Rahling (pictured above) tied the game with a goal early in the second half. Freshman
Ryan Wilson assisted on the goal for his first career point.
