Women's Soccer Beaten by Undefeated Swarthmore

The Muhlenberg women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss to No. 9/13 Swarthmore.

The Garnet (13-0-1, 7-0-1), one of 11 undefeated teams in Division III entering the game, netted both goals in the first 12:05.

The Mules (4-10-1, 3-5) played even the rest of the way against a Swarthmore team that has outscored its opponents by a 65-2 margin. Muhlenberg finished with a 19-12 advantage in shots but could not find the back of the net.

Senior goalkeeper Jen Mermelstein made seven saves for Muhlenberg.
