Freshman
Emily Jordan provided both goals for the Mules. In the 29
th minute, the freshman finished a free kick from sophomore
Carly DeNigris past the Diplomat keeper.
Nine minutes later, Jordan was at it again, finishing a cross from senior
Taylor Pini with her right foot to double the lead.
Jordan
(pictured above) is the first Mule freshman to record a multiple-goal game since Nicolette Miller in 2008.
Senior
Jen Mermelstein made four saves to pick up her fourth win and second shutout of the season. Both teams fired 13 shots, but Muhlenberg held an 8-4 edge in shots on target.
