Box ScoreThe Muhlenberg volleyball team started with match with a big comeback, but Haverford ended it with an even bigger one to pull out a 3-2 win in a matchup of two of the four 2014 Centennial Conference semifinalists.
After falling behind 16-10 in the first set, the Mules (14-8, 4-3) roared back to score the next six points. The Fords (13-6, 4-1) took another lead at 20-17, but again Muhlenberg came back to tie.
The teams traded the next 10 points and were tied at 25 before Haverford commited back-to-back attack errors to end the set in a 27-25 Mule win.
Muhlenberg never trailed in the second set, opening up an early 7-2 lead. The Fords cut a 23-18 lead to 23-22, but the Mules scored the final two points to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
The third set was another tight one, with 10 ties. Muhlenberg had match point at 25-24 and 26-25, but Haverford scored the final three points for a 28-26 win.
The Fords took the momentum from the third set and ran with it, winning the fourth set 25-12 and jumping out to an 11-2 lead en route to capturing the fifth, 15-9.

Allison Glass led a balanced attack with 12 kills, one more than seniors
Sarah Weyhmuller and
Katherine Boll. Glass also had 18 digs. Junior
Elizabeth Garrison led the defense with 22 digs. Freshman
Shannon Hubert recorded 29 assists, nine digs and four aces.
