Shane Mastro joined the Muhlenberg staff as throws coach for the 2024-25 season.
Mastro is a 2021 graduate of Moravian University, where he had an outstanding career as a thrower. He won won eight Landmark Conference championships in shot put in his career and also was a conference runner-up in discus and hammer. As a graduate student in 2022, Mastro qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in shot put.
Prior to joining the Mules, Mastro spent two years as throws coach at Marywood University and was part of a staff that was named Atlantic East Conference coaching staff of the year for the 2024 outdoor season.
