Muhlenberg College Athletics

Emily DeOliveira joined the Muhlenberg coaching staff for the 2021 season, bringing experience as a local soccer player and coach in the Lehigh Valley.

Coach DeO played for and graduated from Salisbury High School in 2011. While in high school, she played for a Lehigh Valley United college showcase team. She continued her playing career at DeSales University for four years and graduated in 2015 with a sport and exercise science major. During her college years, she started coaching for SYA, a Salisbury youth soccer program, along with playing for the Lehigh Valley United Sonic Team.

In 2015, DeO started coaching women's soccer at Nazareth Area High School as an assistant/JV coach for four years. She moved to Philadelphia and was the head coach at Girard College for two years. During this time, she got her teaching degree and is now very happy to be back in the Lehigh Valley as a health and physical education teacher at Catasauqua Middle School.
