Katy Mitton

After four years as a player for Muhlenberg, Katy Mitton joined the staff for the 2014-15 season and helped coach her alma mater to the Centennial Conference championship.

Mitton was a four-year letterwinner as a forward for the Mules, serving as a team co-captain her senior year, before graduating with a degree in American studies in 2014. From 2011 to 2014, she was head coach of an AAU team, the Lehigh Valley Outcasts, and she has served as a summer camp counselor at Muhlenberg, Lafayette College and her alma mater, Parkland High School, where she played four years and was team MVP as a senior.

Her last two years at Muhlenberg, Mitton served on the Campus Committee for Fitness and Athletics, and in June 2013 she attended the NCAA Career in Sports Conference in Indianapolis, Ind. She held internships in the athletic department at both Muhlenberg and Lafayette and has been member of Muhlenberg's game management staff since the fall of her junior year, doing public address at numerous events in a variety of sports.

Mitton received her master's in sports leadership from Virginia Commonwealth in 2017.
