Muhlenberg College Athletics

Zack Higgins joined the Muhlenberg lacrosse staff in the fall of 2023 as an assistant coach, assisting on the defensive side of the field.

Higgins is a 2023 graduate of Mercy University, where he was a two-year member of the men’s lacrosse team and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in media studies. Higgins appeared in 35 games at Mercy, starting nine, and was a contributor to teams that made the Division II national championship in 2022 and the Division II tournament again in 2023.

Higgins also was a member of the University of Hartford’s men's lacrosse team in 2021 and was a two-year starter at Onondaga Community College from 2019 to 2020. He started every game at OCC, including starting and winning the 2019 NJCAA national championship. Higgins was named a captain during his sophomore season and graduated with an associate’s degree in digital media journalism.

Higgins is a resident of Lower Macungie, Pennsylvania. He attended Emmaus High School, where he was a four-year member of the lacrosse team. His brother, Tim, is a member of the Muhlenberg football team.
