Troy Moyer is in his first season on the Muhlenberg men’s lacrosse coaching staff. He works with the team in all facets of play and partakes in all aspects of recruiting as well. Moyer also works as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Moyer has additional coaching experience as head coach for the Blak Widow Select 2019 team of Reading, Pa., for the past two years, where he was able to put together the program’s best summer travel lacrosse record to date, capturing three of four tournament championships. During the spring of 2016 he also served as an assistant tech coach for the Fairfield (Conn.) Youth Lacrosse Program fifth-grade A team that competed against some of the top youth lacrosse talent in Fairfield County.
Prior to his arrival in Allentown, Moyer was a student-athlete at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn., where he played Division I lacrosse in the competitive Northeast Conference.
Moyer graduated in 2015 with a bachelor of science in exercise science, focusing in strength and conditioning. During his time at Fairfield, he also worked as a strength and conditioning coach.
A Boyertown, Pa., native, Moyer played under current Mules assistant Dave Lamont at Boyertown High School, where he earned varsity letters all four years and was captain his senior year. He remains the school’s only boys’ lacrosse player to play Division I lacrosse.
