Michael Sullinger

Michael Sullinger returned to Muhlenberg as associate head men's lacrosse coach in the summer of 2024.

A 2013 graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University, Sullinger was an assistant coach with the Mules in 2014 and 2015. He left Allentown to become an assistant coach at Randolph-Macon College, where in his six seasons as a full-time assistant coach, he mentored 20 All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference athletes, two All-Americans, four Scholar All-Americans and the 2019 ODAC Men's Lacrosse Scholar Athlete of the Year.

In 2022, Sullinger was named head coach of the developing Alvernia University program. In his second season, he led the Golden Wolves to four wins, their most since 2013, and the 2024 team won four games again and narrowly missed picking up its first conference win in 11 years. In his three seasons, Sullinger coached two MAC Commonwealth all-conference athletes and the program's first All-American.

Sullinger was a four-year member of the Eastern Connecticut State men's lacrosse team as an attack. He earned All-Little East honors twice, including first-team honors in 2012, and finished his career in the top 10 on ECSU’s all-time list with 176 career points. Sullinger was selected to participate in the 2012 East-West All-Star Game and spent a year as a volunteer assistant coach at his alma mater, coaching two All-Americans in the 2013 season and helping the Warriors win the Little East Conference and make an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Sullinger went on to earn his master's in coaching education from Ohio University in 2019.
