Jacob Farrell, a lifelong player and longtime coach at competitive high school and club programs, joined the collegiate coaching ranks at Muhlenberg for the 2022 season.
Farrell honed his specialized coaching skills working at the Lacrosse Evolution training facility under the tutelage of lacrosse legend Tom Slate.
Farrell coached at Bishop Shanahan High School in southeast Pennsylvania, a school that captured back-to-back PIAA Class 2A state championships and produce multiple Division I men’s lacrosse student-athletes. Seeking every opportunity to grow the game, Farrell competed and worked overseas for the Israel Premier Lacrosse League during its inaugural 2015 season.
Shortly after, Farrell joined the United States Navy, serving four years onboard guided missile destroyers before being honorably discharged in 2020.
Farrell played four years of Division III lacrosse at Susquehanna University, where he contributed to back-to-back Landmark Conference championships in 2013 and 2014.
