• Ran in three races as a sophomore
• Posted season-best 43rd-place finish at Bulldog Invitational

• Top freshman runner for the Mules
• Was the fifth Muhlenberg runner across the finish line in three of six meets, including both championships
• Came in 63rd at the CC Championships in just his second 8K race
• Muhlenberg's top finisher in the 4K race at the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational

Personal
• Won two letters apiece in cross country and outdoor track at Watchung Hills Regional High School
• Served as team captain in both sports
• Helped set the school record in the 4x800 relay
• Parents are Gregory and Cheryl Shanahan

• An English major and double minor in environmental science and creative writing
• Made the Dean's List four semesters
• Studied abroad in Christchurch, New Zealand, during the Fall 2019 semester
