Zach Warech joined the Muhlenberg College men's basketball coaching staff for the 2025-26 season, bringing experience as a Division III player and coach.
Warech was a five-year member of the Ithaca College men's basketball team, serving as a captain for two years. He scored more than 500 points, dished out more than 200 assists, and received Liberty League All-Academic Honors three times. Warech played in all 30 games, starting six, for the 2020 Bomber squad that won the Liberty League championship and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
After graduating from Ithaca in 2022 with a sport management major and coaching minor, Warech spent a year as assistant varsity coach and head JV coach at Drew University. From there, he moved on to coach for a year at Montclair State University.
A native of Pine Brook, New Jersey, Warech has also served as head coach of the AAU New Jersey Panthers, program director at Drills Skills and Thrills Basketball Academy, and a mental performance trainer with Hardcore Hoops.
