Jake Brown joined the Muhlenberg men's basketball coaching staff in 2017 following a stellar career at Middlebury College.
Brown was a four-year member of the Middlebury basketball team and finished his career with 552 assists, one short of the school record. He was the starting point guard for Panther teams that won the New England Small College Athletic Conference championship and won at least one NCAA Tournament game in both 2016 and 2017.
A two-year captain, Brown led the NESCACÂ and ranked 14th in Division III in assists per game in 2017, earning a spot on the All-NESCAC second team.
Brown graduated from Middlebury with an economics major and political science minor in May 2017. He spent the summer of 2017 as head basketball coach at Alexander Basketball Academy in Pottstown, Pa., coaching and mentoring more than 100 international student-athletes from more than 35 countries.
Brown has also coached basketball in his hometown of Hawley, Pa., and at a clinic in Belgium.
