Shea Dwyer joined the Muhlenberg staff in 2014, coaching the tight ends. In his first season, one of his players shattered school and Centennial Conference records for receiving by a tight end and was named a first-team All-American.
After an All-America career at Wesleyan (Conn.) University, where he set the single-game and single-season rushing records, Dwyer went on to coach at the high school level. In 2012 he helped lead Xavier High School to a Connecticut state championship as the receivers and defensive backs coach. Dwyer returned to his alma mater in 2013 to coach running backs.
Dwyer graduated from Wesleyan in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in government, and completed his master’s of liberal sciences in 2012.
