A former varsity player at two area colleges, Shane Brady joined the Muhlenberg football coaching staff in 2015.
Brady was a three-time letterwinner and member of the 2013 Patriot League championship team at Lafayette College. A defensive back, he made two starts and had 15 tackles and an interception as a senior.
Following his graduation from Lafayette, Brady transferred to East Stroudsburg University as a graduate student and played in nine games at safety and on special teams in 2014. He served as an assistant football coach at ESU in the spring, working with the linebackers and defensive backs.
Brady played scholastically at La Salle College High School, where he was a member of the 2009 state champion and two-time winner of the Tex Flannery Award, given to the Catholic League’s AAAA student-athlete of the year.
