After a stellar career as one of the best tight ends in Division III, Ryan Curtiss joined the Muhlenberg football coaching staff in 2020.

Curtiss played football three years at Muhlenberg and was an All-American all three. Statistically the top tight end in Centennial Conference history, he was named an All-American by D3football.com in 2017, by D3football.com, the AFCA and AP in 2018 and by D3football.com and AP in 2019. Curtiss also was the 12th Muhlenberg player named to the All-CC first team three straight years.

Curtiss set school and CC records for career receptions (148), receiving yards (2,024) and receiving touchdowns (29) by a tight end. He also holds the school season records for touchdown receptions by any player (15) and receptions (61) and receiving yards (856) by a tight end. On the program's all-time lists, Curtiss is tied for second in touchdown catches, seventh in receptions and 10th in receiving yards.

Before coming to Muhlenberg, Curtiss played one year at Division II Pace University, starting at middle linebacker and recording 29 tackles.

Curtiss attended the National Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana, in February 2020 and graduated from Muhlenberg with a degree in business administration.
