After spending a year as a special teams assistant and in charge of defensive quality control at FCS runner-up Towson University, Patrick Ruley joined the Muhlenberg staff in 2014, coaching the outside linebackers.
Both Mule starting outside linebackers earned first-team All-Centennial Conference honors in 2014.
Ruley graduated from Rowan University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in English. As a four-year letterwinner for the Profs, Ruley was a two-time all-New Jersey Athletic Conference selection at outside linebacker and was a captain his senior season. He finished with career with 179 tackles, including 20 for loss, and was selected to play in the 2012 National Bowl All-Star Game.
