No stranger to Centennial Conference football, Colin Schaeffer joined the Muhlenberg staff as outside linebacker coach for the 2016 season.
Schaeffer played four years at Juniata College, seeing time at both inside linebacker and outside linebacker. He also played extensively on special teams. Schaeffer made a career-high nine tackles against Moravian as a senior.
After exhausting his eligibility, Schaeffer served as a volunteer coach with the linebackers during Juniata's spring football season. He was inducted into the National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society for maintaining a 3.2 cumulative GPA while being a starter in his last year of eligibility.
A native of Newport, Pa., Schaeffer graduated with a major in management and a minor in English.
