This past spring, the first annual Muleys were voted on and awarded in a celebration of Muhlenberg Athletics and its athletes. The awards were conceived and spearheaded by the Muhlenberg Athletic Leadership Team (MALT) in an effort to recognize student athletes for their efforts on and off their respective playing fields.
The award recipients who were part of the Class of 2026 received their awards at a ceremony on May 14th. The remaining student-athletes and teams were honored as part of the festivities at the student-athlete welcome back event held on the evening of September 7th.
There were nine community-voted social media awards and 10 awards that were voted on by the athletics leadership staff. The community awards were nominated through and voted on via MALT's Instagram. The other 10 awards were nominated by coaches and staff members before being voted upon by a select few members of Muhlenberg Athletics' administration.
