The Muhlenberg baseball team trailed by nine runs before it ever came to bat and wound up losing a non-conference game to DeSales, 22-7.
Six more runs in the second by the Bulldogs (22-10), who are 33rd in the NCAA's Division III selection rankings, made it 15-1. The Mules (9-19) closed to within 15-7 before getting blanked over the final four innings.

Thomas Pranzo drove in two runs with a double and a groundout.

JJ Foti doubled to lead off the second, igniting a five-run inning, while sophomore
Joe Zito hit a pinch-hit double in the sixth. Freshman
Joey Georgiou came off the bench to hit two singles, one that brought in two runs, and steal two bases.
