The Muhlenberg field hockey team drew a tough assignment for its final game of the 2026 season in seven-time defending Centennial Conference champion Johns Hopkins.
The Mules kept the game scoreless through the first 15 minutes, but the ninth-ranked Blue Jays scored twice early in the second quarter and went on to a 5-0 win.
Sophomore
Brenna Fitzpatrick, whose emergence as one of the top goalies in the CC was one of the highlights of the season, played the first three quarters and recorded 8 saves. Fitzpatrick led the CC with an .858 save percentage in league games, and her 133 saves were the 11th-most in a season in program history.
Although she was held out of the game due to injury, junior
Jocelyn Morgan made some history too. Of the 19 goals Muhlenberg scored on the season, Morgan netted 11, making her the first player to put in at least half of the team's goals since 1995.
Senior
Maddie Schwartz played the final quarter and made a save in the last few seconds of her career. Also closing out their undergraduate playing careers for the Mules were
MJ Callahan,
