The Muhlenberg women's soccer team could not overcome first-half deficits and suffered a pair of Centennial Conference road losses, 4-0 at Haverford and 2-0 at Washington College.
The Mules played Haverford closely for the first 26 minutes, but a goal off a rebound opened the floodgates. The Fords scored three goals in a span of 10 minutes to build a big lead.
Muhlenberg won three corner kicks in the first 11 minutes of the second half but could not convert them into goals, and Haverford added a fourth goal soon after.
Sophomore
Tessa Pratt made her varsity debut in goal at Haverford, playing the final 26:25 and not allowing a goal.
The Mules faced a very early deficit at Washington College, conceding a goal just 77 seconds into the game.
Muhlenberg almost netted the equalizer 30 seconds later, but a long left-footed strike from sophomore
Jaidyn Falcone dinged off the crossbar.
The Shorewomen put in an insurance goal in the final eight minutes.
Senior
Megan Stairs made a total of 13 saves in the two games.
