The Muhlenberg field hockey team received extraordinary play in goal at 11th-ranked Franklin & Marshall.
Despite being outshot 44-4, the Mules lost only 2-0, thanks to sophomore
Brenna Fitzpatrick, who made 21 saves. Her total was the highest by a Muhlenberg goalie since 2010.
Fitzpatrick
(pictured above) made nine of her saves in the third quarter, when the Diplomats took 14 shots and eight penalty corners. She topped her previous career high of 19, set in the season opener at Scranton.
