Two first-half goals accounted for all the scoring as the Muhlenberg men's soccer team played its second straight road tie, 1-1 at Misericordia.
The game was a matchup of two teams that have been regionally ranked this season: The Mules (3-0-3) came in ranked fourth in Region V, while the Cougars (2-2-2) were eighth in Region IV last week.
Freshman
Daniel Ariza opened the scoring just under eight minutes into the game off a long ball out of the back by sophomore
Owen Zoeller. It was the fourth goal of the season for Ariza, who just six games into his career is tied for second among active Muhlenberg players in career goals. The assists was the second in the career of Zoeller
(pictured above).
Misericordia drew even exactly 18 minutes later, and the teams remained tied the rest of the game.
The Mules are undefeated through six games for the first time since 2019, when they started 5-0-1.
