Baseball Bats Silenced at Haverford

The Muhlenberg baseball team managed only two hits and dropped the opening game of its series with Haverford, 11-1.

Freshman Salvatore Cifalino had one of two hits for the Mules (13-13, 3-4), driving in a run with a fifth-inning single.

The second game of the series, scheduled for Friday, is due to be the opening game on Muhlenberg's new field, the refurbished Bicentennial Park.
