The Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team closed out the regular season with a 16-5 loss at fifth-ranked Franklin & Marshall.
The Mules (13-4, 5-3), who had already clinched a home playoff game, will host Ursinus in a first-round game on Tuesday.
Muhlenberg took an early 1-0 lead on a goal by sophomore
Emma Youngling, but the Diplomats put to rest any hopes of an upset by responding with four goals in a span of 1:51.
The Mules were within five late in the third quarter but did not score in the final 17 minutes.
