Despite dropping its regular-season finale to 17th-ranked Dickinson, 11-7, the Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team earned the right to host a Centennial Conference playoff game.
The Mules (9-8, 5-3) finished in a three-way tie for third place in the CC and will be the fourth seed for the playoffs. They will host Franklin & Marshall in a first-round game on Tuesday.

A rough stretch late in the first half was the difference against Dickinson. The Red Devils (11-5, 7-1) held a slim 3-2 lead midway through the second quarter before netting four goals in a span of only 3:11.
Trailing 9-4 midway through the third, the Mules mounted a comeback effort with a three-goal run that started with a behind-the-back goal by freshman
Luc Belvill.
Muhlenberg did not score for the rest of the game, however, and Dickinson added two late goals.
Sophomore
Liam Ledwith led the offense with three goals, while sophomore
Chase Kusko contributed a goal and two assists to move to within two of the Mules' single-season points record.Â
Lavarra tied his career high (set vs. Dickinson last year) with six caused turnovers to tie the program record of 64 career caused turnovers, which had stood since 2011. Hochegger picked up five ground balls.
