The Muhlenberg baseball team fell at Ursinus, 12-2, in a game that was close until the final two innings.
Behind a solid start from sophomore
Luke Foley, the Mules (17-20, 6-10) trailed only 2-1 heading into the bottom of the sixth. But after the Bears (20-18, 5-11) scored a third run on a squeeze bunt, the next batter hit a three-run homer to break the game open. Ursinus ended the game by plating six runs in the seventh.
Muhlenberg scored its runs in the first and last innings on doubles by senior
Brendan Hughes - his 97th career RBI - and freshman
Chris Moglia.
Graduate student
Jack Kent (pictured above) reached in two of his three plate appearances on a single and a walk.
