The Muhlenberg baseball team was blanked over the final five innings and lost at Cairn, 7-6.

The Mules (8-7) led 6-2 after four, scoring three runs in the first on an RBI single by junior Thomas Pranzo and a two-run single by freshman Thomas Rorick. Sophomore Spencer Hobson and senior Aidan Legner added RBI hits in the fourth.

The Highlanders (8-4) tied it with three in the fifth and one in the sixth, then scored the winning run without the benefit of a hit in the bottom of the eighth.

Pranzo had an outstanding day at the plate, reaching base in all five appearances on two hits and three walks. Rorick (pictured above), Hobson, Legner, and senior Brendan Hughes also had two hits.
