The Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team overcame a slow start to defeat Moravian, 14-9, in its 2025 season opener.
The Mules trailed 3-0 a little more than six minutes into the game before going on a 12-1 run that last until the final minute of the third quarter.
Senior
Jillian Kubikowski was involved in eight of the 12 goals, scoring five and assisting on three. She added Muhlenberg's final goal in the fourth quarter, finishing with a career-high 9 points - the most by a Mule since 2018.
Sophomore
Alyssa Hartnett was the recipient of all three of Kubikowski's assists. Hartnett
(pictured above), who netted six goals all of last season, also converted a pass from junior
Danielle Sautner for her fourth goal of the game.
Sophomore
Emma Youngling contributed a pair of goals, while junior
Ava Milia scored a goal in the first quarter for her 100th career point.
Senior
Melissa Pierpont led the defense with 3 caused turnovers and 3 ground balls.Â
